I am a composer, vocalist, musician, photographer, graphic artist, illustrator, scientist, experimenter, engineer, and sci-fi/fantasy author. My other interests include woodworking, musical instrument repair, cooking...
I have an insatiable desire to understand how everything works. It would be nice to be able to claim to be a true know-it-all, but that would be impossible -- and I'll be the first to admit that I do not know it all! But that is certainly no reason not to try. Knowledge is really the stuff that dreams are made of.
Creating new things and repairing old ones is a way of life for me. And sharing my experience and insight with others is part of that. I sincerely hope that you find something useful among the pages on this site.
Something very personal to me is dyslexia.
I suffered decades of frustration trying to deal with my affliction until
dictation software finally arrived. It is what makes possible the literature
that I write -- and indeed this website. Read more about dyslexia here.
I am now a published author with my first book "Fables from Elsewhere."
My SF novella The Remnant, was Honorably Mentioned in Leading Edge magazine’s
short-story competition. (I am seeking publication for that piece, and there
are many more to come.)
